How long will it take for me to get a decision on a planning application?
The statutory period for a planning Authority to make a decision is 8 weeks from receipt of an application. They may however decide to request Further Information in which case the applicant has up to 6 months to furnish the authority with the additional information. The Authority on receipt of the further information then has a further 4 weeks to decide.
